The Access, Equity and Inclusion Council was established to advance Northeast State Community College as an inclusive campus. The council shall meet monthly or as deemed appropriate by the chair. 

Purpose 

The Access, Equity and Inclusion Council has been developed to enhance our knowledge and understanding of the challenges of diversity at Northeast State Community College while preparing our college and students to function in a multicultural world. 

Membership 

  • Chair, Cultural Activities Committee
  • Academic Dean, annually appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
  • Council Chair (elected by the council)
  • Director of Community Relations
  • Director of Marketing
  • Equity & Compliance Officer
  • Executive Director of Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness
  • President or Chair, Faculty Senate
  • Two Council for Leadership, Advocacy, Leadership and Student Success (CLASS) representatives, appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
  • Vice President or Vice Chair, Faculty Senate
  • Vice President, Access and Development, Non-voting
  • Vice President, Institutional Excellence and Student Success, Nov-voting
