Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils

Purpose: The Curriculum Subcommittee will receive and review proposed curriculum changes to include course additions/deletions, changes to existing programs, and proposals for new academic programs. 

Membership:

  1. Faculty Member on the Subcommittee elected by the Subcommittee members, Chair
  2. Academic Computing Manager, Non-voting
  3. Coordinator of Accessibility Services, Non-voting
  4. Faculty (14) – Term of service will be two years:
    1. Faculty (2): elected by Faculty in the Advanced Technologies Division
    2. Faculty (2): elected by Faculty in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Division
    3. Faculty (2): elected by Faculty in the Business Technologies Division
    4. Faculty (2): elected by Faculty in the Health Professions Divison
    5. Faculty (2): elected by Faculty in the Humanities Divison
    6. Faculty (2): elected by Faculty in the Mathematics Division
    7. Faculty (2): elected by Faculty in the Science Division
  5. Librarian (1): appointed by the President, Non-voting
  6. Student (1): appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
  7. Vice President for Academic Affairs, Non-voting
