Chapter 3: Student Affairs03:02:05 No Unlawful Uses Permitted
Users shall not engage in unlawful uses of the information technology system resources of the Tennessee Board of Regents or Northeast State Community College. Unlawful activities are violations of this policy and may also subject persons engaging in these activities to civil and/or criminal penalties.
Examples of unlawful activities include:
- Identity Theft Scams
- Hacking
- Online harassment
- Cyberstalking
- Online Child Pornography
- Software Piracy
This list of unlawful activities is illustrative and not intended to be exhaustive. Questions concerning potential unlawful use of information technology may be directed to the Chief Information Officer.
