03:01:08:02   Assistance for Referrals

Students involved in sexual misconduct or violent situations are encouraged to seek assistance for referral from the Northeast State Police Department, Counseling Services, or the Assistant Director of Equity and Compliance. 

Students who are victims of sexual misconduct or violent situations may need off-campus counseling and assistance. The following organization serves the Northeast Tennessee area:

Northeast State provides College-wide programs that focus on campus security, personal safety, primary prevention, and issues related to violence in accordance with TCA § 49-7-137. These programs include awareness campaigns, prevention strategies, risk reduction, and available options in the event of acts of violence, sexual assaults, hate crimes, or difficult situations.
