Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils

06:36:00 Promotion Appeal

Purpose

The Promotion Appeal Committee will hear an appeal from a faculty member regarding conflicts, discrepancies or disagreements occurring during the faculty promotion evaluation process. The Committee will investigate appealed issue/s and make a recommendation to the President. A response to the appeal will be completed within 20 working days of the date of the appeal.

Membership

Faculty member on the Committee elected by the Committee members, Chair
Faculty (5): appointed by the President

The committee will be convened as needed.
