Purpose

The Professional Development Committee shall recommend, plan, and implement professional development activities for faculty and staff in support of intellectual and professional growth.

Membership

  1. Co-chairs, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of Human Resources
  2. Administrative/Professional Staff (1): appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
  3. Administrative/Professional Staff (1): appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Culture
  4. Administrative/Professional Staff (1): appointed by the Vice President for Economic and Workforce Development
  5. Administrative/Professional Staff (1): appointed by the Vice President for Finance and Administration
  6. Administrative/Professional Staff (1): appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
  7. Dean of Teaching Excellence and Academic Resources
  8. Faculty (6):
    1. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Division
    2. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Health Professions Division
    3. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Humanities Division
    4. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Mathematics Division
    5. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Science Division
    6. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Technologies Division
  9. Support Staff (1): appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
