Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils

Purpose 

The Cultural Activities Committee identifies, plans, and coordinates a variety of campus activities designed for the cultural enrichment of Northeast State students, faculty, staff and residents of the region. The Committee shall meet a minimum of twice per year: once at the onset of the fall semester, and once at the onset of the spring semester.

Membership

  1. Chair, Director, Student Life and Engagement
  2. Assistant Director of Media and Theatre Services
  3. Assistant Vice President & Chief Information Officer
  4. Chief Diversity Officer
  5. Dean of Humanities
  6. Director of Marketing & Community Relations
  7. Faculty members (6), one from each academic division, appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
  8. International Education Committee Chair
  9. Staff Senate Representative, appointed by the Staff Senate Executive Council
  10. Students (2) appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
  11. Vice President for Academic Affairs
  12. Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
