Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils

Purpose 

The Cultural Activities Committee identifies, plans, and coordinates a variety of campus activities designed for the cultural enrichment of Northeast State students, faculty, and staff and for residents of the region. 

Membership

  1. Chair, elected by the Committee from the membership (The Vice President for Academic Affairs shall call the initial meeting each year, at which time the committee Chair shall be elected.)
  2. Chief Diversity Officer
  3. Chief Information Officer
  4. Dean of Humanities
  5. Director of Community Relations
  6. Director of Student Life
  7. Faculty members (4) appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
  8. International Education Committee Chair
  9. Media and Theater Services Manager
  10. Staff Senate Representative, appointed by the Staff Senate Executive Council
  11. Students (2) appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
  12. Vice President for Academic Affairs, Non-voting 
  13. Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
