Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils06:08:00 Cultural Activities
Purpose
The Cultural Activities Committee identifies, plans, and coordinates a variety of campus activities designed for the cultural enrichment of Northeast State students, faculty, staff and residents of the region. The Committee shall meet a minimum of three times per year: once at the onset of the academic year to elect a chair, once during the fall semester, and once during the spring semester.
Membership
- Chair, elected by the Committee from the membership (The Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success shall call the initial meeting each year, at which time the committee Chair shall be elected.)
- Assistant Director, Multimedia and Theatre Services
- Chief Diversity Officer
- Chief Information Officer
- Dean of Humanities
- Director of Community Relations
- Director of Student Life
- Faculty members (4) appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
- International Education Committee Chair
- Staff Senate Representative, appointed by the Staff Senate Executive Council
- Students (2) appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
- Vice President for Academic Affairs
- Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
