Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils06:08:00 Cultural Activities
Purpose
The Cultural Activities Committee identifies, plans, and coordinates a variety of campus activities designed for the cultural enrichment of Northeast State students, faculty, staff and residents of the region. The Committee shall meet a minimum of twice per year: once at the onset of the fall semester, and once at the onset of the spring semester.
Membership
- Chair, Director, Student Life and Engagement
- Assistant Director of Media and Theatre Services
- Assistant Vice President & Chief Information Officer
- Chief Diversity Officer
- Dean of Humanities
- Director of Marketing & Community Relations
- Faculty members (6), one from each academic division, appointed by the Vice President for Academic Affairs
- International Education Committee Chair
- Staff Senate Representative, appointed by the Staff Senate Executive Council
- Students (2) appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
- Vice President for Academic Affairs
- Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
