Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils

Purpose

The Admissions Subcommittee is responsible for reviewing admissions policies, recommending policies for the readmission of students on academic suspension, making decisions on the readmission of students, and hearing student appeals of residency classification.

Membership

  1. Dean of Enrollment Management & Dean of Students, Chair
  2. Faculty (6): Faculty – term of service will be two years:
    1. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Division
    2. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Health Professions Division
    3. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Humanities Division
    4. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Mathematics Division
    5. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Science Division
    6. Faculty (1): elected by Faculty in the Technologies Division
  3. Faculty Member (1): from the Academic Affairs Committee, elected by the Academic Affairs Committee members
  4. Professional (1): Advising Resource Center Representative, appointed by the Vice President for Institutional Excellence and Student Success
