Chapter 6: College Committees & Advisory Councils

06:34:00   President's Support Staff Advisory Council

1.     Purpose:  The President’s Support Staff Advisory Council provides employees classified as support staff members an opportunity to provide direct input to the president on college-related matters.  Specifically, the members discuss with the president matters/concerns/issues which they feel affect the overall effectiveness of the institution.

2.     Membership:  Recommendations for membership on the council are made to the president by staff members within the various support staff organizational units of the College.  Members will be appointed by the president.


3.     Review of Recommendations:  The Vice Presidents will implement any final recommendations from the President as a result of the PSSAC meetings and report changes annually as part of the strategic planning process.



The committee chair shall post a meeting summary on the campus bulletin board and post minutes/actions/plans on the Campus Drive, Committees Folder.
