05:01:05   Group Insurance Plans

This plan is available to full-time faculty and staff and their eligible dependents. The plan includes medical/hospitalization, pharmacy, basic group term life and special accident insurance coverage, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Enrollment in this option has very specific time limits. Information on time limit rules can be obtained from the Human Resources Office or from the state website link which is https://www.tn.gov/partnersforhealth.

Additional voluntary insurance options available to eligible employees are:

Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Term Life
Special Accident
Short Term Disability
Long Term Disability

The College pays about 80 percent of the cost of your health insurance premium if you are in a positive pay status or on approved family medical leave. The employee must pay the total premium for voluntary insurance coverage. Information on these options may be obtained from the Human Resources Office.
