1.Ability to explain and apply scientific, computer and mathematical skills including analytical and statistical reasoning to solve industry-based technology problems in quality control systems.
2.Ability to design, apply, and evaluate manufacturing processes related to turning, milling, forming, fabricating, forging, casting, and application operations.
3.Ability to demonstrate technical sketching, manual drawing, and computer aided drawing skills to an acceptable level required in modern manufacturing and industry.
4.Ability to identify and write 2D, and 3D tool path code to control CNC and robotic equipment and identify tool path parameters prior to geometry creation in addition to other automated computer controlled equipment.
5.Ability to, upon completion of the program, all students will demonstrate critical thinking skills for inquiry and analysis, assimilation of facts and knowledge, and problem solving.
